Which kind of network structure do you believe is less likely to crash or freeze if a spooler malfunction should deadlock a node. Explain your conclusion and suggest whether or not system robustness in this instance is reason enough to choose one structure over the other

First of all, if you are referring to a print spooler there are many simple solutions to clearing a print spooler. Secondly I would always recommend using a Star, Tree, or Hybride Network Topology because it protects against a single point of failure.
